RETS (GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF METEOROLOGY)

Through the Wind Energy Estimation System (RETS), the 48-hour wind forecasts at various altitudes and 4 km resolution have started to be produced for all of Turkey. RETS certification and development studies are ongoing.

The system can provide information for different forms and heights;

• Wind Speed,
• Wind Intensity,
• Wind Energy,
• Daily Total Energy Production.
